I'm Marlize Duncan...

A recent grad of the University of Southern California (fight on!) with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Law and Social Justice.

I've carved a niche beat for myself in my writing at the intersection of identity, entertainment, and social justice with articles ranging from colorism in entertainment to period poverty.

Outside of journalism, I’ve worked on a documentary detailing the lives of Black Americans during the Civil Rights Movement, created and hosted an entertainment morning show, copywritten at Converse, and created initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion in a couple of my university’s newsrooms.

When I’m not creating journalistic content you can find me reading a Jasmine Guillory book, drawing famous people, or making comedy videos in my room.

You can reach me by clicking the “Contact Me” tab or sending me a meme on Twitter @MarlizeDuncan (on both!)
